Rejuvenating & Building Tonic

A rich warming chocolaty mug of comfort:

  • 3-4 madjool dates
    • 10 raw almonds, soaked overnight
    • 1 cup-whole milk or coconut milk
    • 1-2 tbsp raw cacao
    •1/4 tsp cinnamon
    •1/4 tsp ginger powder
    •1/8th tsp cardamom powder
    •1 tsp ashwaganda powder

    (avoid if you have a heat condition or imbalance or are on a blood thinner)

    •Soak almonds over night.

•Soak dates in warm water 20 min or until soft + then remove pits

•Drain almonds and remove skins.

•warm milk, dates and almonds +’Ashwaganda and spices in pot.

• remove from heat and in a blender or with an immersion blender, blend until smooth

• serve in your favourite mug
