If you feel tired after a meal, it is a sign of weak digestion. It’s like you have added a log to a weak flame, now energy needs to be used to burn through the log and reset the fires  

 

A few ways you can start to increase your digestive fire and improve your digestion, absorption and assimilation are:

  • Start your day with warm water  not cold

  • Sip on hot water throughout the day 

  • Avoid drinking ice cold beverages as these extinguish digestive flame

  • Avoid drinking large amounts of liquids-with meals 

  • Make lunch your bigger and main meal of the day - this is when the sun energy is strongest and digestive fire is highest
